Factoring government receivables

In News by Keith Dillihunt

Selling your services and products to local, state, and federal entities can be an exhilarating and a trying time for a small business.  These contracts can be overwhelming in their size and commitment, but they can be very rewarding.

Are you fully prepared to handle this contract?  Sure, you can provide your services or sell your products.  That isn’t your concern.

Can your business survive not receiving payment for those services SIXTY days after you’ve invoiced your client?   Not many businesses can.  Those that can probably have been around for a while or they have a large bank line of credit.

At Gordon James Financial Solutions, we have the capabilities to handle those receivables that can stretch out to ninety days.  It helps to know that these accounts are going to pay slower, so we can adjust accordingly.

Our underwriting process will determine the credit worthiness of the governmental entity and preapprove you for an amount of invoices to send in and factor with our partners.  I some cases, we will be able to advance up to 95% of the value of the invoice.

We love working with small businesses that land government contracts.  You’ll love working with us.
